da bet esporte: Everton fans will be content with their side’s current 12th position in the Premier League, but they will still be concerned about their dearest Toffees in the forward areas.

da heads bet: Indeed, David Moyes’ men have only scored a meagre 23 goals in the Premier League all season long, with the likes of Leeds United – who are deep in a relegation fight – putting away a slightly superior 29 strikes, in contrast.

The Scotsman will hope to add some lethal attackers to his squad before January is out, the type of lethal centre forward who can propel the Merseyside giants further up the competitive division.

£17m star wants to join Everton

There have been plenty of transfer rumours already this January, tipping a whole onslaught of strikers to make the switch to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Former Chelsea star Tammy Abraham could be one answer to Moyes’ woes in attack, while the Glaswegian could also poach Callum Wilson from former employers West Ham United, with his contract set to be ripped up by the Hammers, to gift Everton an experienced Premier League marksman.

Another rumour rumbling that could see Moyes enhance his attacking options involves Fenerbahce centre-forward Youssef En-Nesyri.

Sky Sports have reported that the Morocco international – who is currently starring at the African Cup of Nations – would prefer a move to Everton over Nottingham Forest who are also sniffing around.

It has been reported that the move would consist of the Toffees signing En-Nesryi initially on loan, before exploring a permanent £17m deal, as Moyes looks to boost his hit-and-miss striker personnel, away from over-relying on Beto and Thierno Barry.

How En-Nesyri could be Moyes' next Fellaini

By signing the Fenerbahce number 19, Moyes could roll back the clock by signing a new Marouane Fellaini-style figure.

Fellaini was simply born for the big occasion when plying his trade on Merseyside, with the 6-foot-4 machine turning into a reliable goalscorer from the midfield ranks.

In total, the Brussels-born star scored 33 goals and supplied 24 assists for the Toffees from 177 appearances, leading to Moyes heralding him as a “really talented” player he can rely on when their paths crossed at Goodison Park.

Often, Fellaini would put his towering frame to good use, with the Scotsman further lauding him as being “formidable” in the air, as seen with his bullet header beating David De Gea way back in 2012.

En-Nesyri is also very capable when battling in the air – coming in at a commanding height of 6-foot-2 – with Sky Sports commentator Terry Gibson stating that the ex-Sevilla striker “really enjoys aerial challenges” when he was putting away goals for fun in Spain.

He is far from a one-trick pony, however, with the Morocco regular also capable of a daring dart forward, or an audacious effort, much like the barnstorming Fellaini, as evidenced by him putting away a stunning 156 goals across his entire career, for both club and country.

Everton need that potent edge in their team right now, desperately, with En-Nesyri ageing like a fine wine for both Fenerbahce and Morocco, as he continues to score important goals both in Turkey and playing on the international stage.

This season alone, the forceful striker has put away eight strikes for Fenerbahce, from only 1779 minutes of action. Moreover, he scored a critical spot-kick for Morocco last time out in AFCON action, ensuring Walid Regragui’s Atlas Lions beat Nigeria in a dramatic penalty shootout to reach the coveted final of the competition.

Noted as making a “big difference” to the Super Lig giant’s ranks by Jose Mourinho last season, who also dubbed the 28-year-old an “exceptional” goalscoring figure, this has all the makings of being an impactful mid-campaign move.

The hope will be that En-Nesyri beds himself in instantly and can score some pivotal goals to send his new employers up the league standings, with a new Fellaini potentially unearthed by Moyes in the process, who was also beloved playing for Belgium, as much as he became a cult presence on Merseyside.
